Get deep into the problem. Find what matters.

DDA investigates hard public, industrial, regulated, and institutional problems. We rebuild how the system works and follow the evidence across sources and organizations. Then we find the constraint, gap, dependency, assumption, or exposure that shapes the outcome.

Next we find what the finding changes, and we build the analysis that the situation needs. The product can be a model, a register, a map, a strategy, a brief, or a decision tool. The work starts with the problem, even when the question is still forming.

Bring us a project that stopped, a number that does not hold together, an RFP that you must deliver, or evidence that nobody has assembled.

Evidence of how DDA thinks

These perspectives trace headline claims through the systems that must support them.

When a housing target is larger than delivery

A need of 291 homes over twenty years looks different beside a delivery record of 3.6 homes a year and a builders' statement about cost. The useful question is where the delivery chain breaks.

The trade gap hidden inside a workforce number

A project can have enough workers on paper and still miss a fixed date. An Eskay Creek analysis found the gap in one trade, in one phase, in one window of months.

When an unsupported number carries the answer

Some inputs carry a whole decision. DDA finds them, checks their source, and shows what changes if they move.

Six kinds of analysis

Most problems need more than one.

Evidence reconstruction. We trace each figure to its primary source and record what it can and cannot show.

Economic and market analysis. We measure what an action adds, what it moves from another place, and what leaves the region.

Fiscal and scenario modelling. We connect growth, cost, timing, and revenue, then test which assumption carries the result.

Labour and workforce analysis. We divide a workforce total down to the supply that a project can use.

Land, infrastructure, and spatial analysis. We screen land against every condition between a designation and a completed project.

Institutional and policy analysis. We follow public claims and decisions to their sources and explain why an institution produced its result.

Thirteen areas of work

Housing and municipal planning. Public finance and capital planning. Economic development. Mining and critical minerals. Energy and electricity. Forestry and forest communities. Infrastructure and transportation. Health workforce and access. Skills, training, and post-secondary. Agriculture and food. Tourism and resort communities. Public institutions and oversight. Land, water, and resource use.

Assignment underway, and one piece is stuck?

Most projects have one workstream where the evidence is scattered, the numbers do not reconcile, and the client will push back hardest. DDA takes that piece and owns it. We rebuild the evidence, test the numbers, and deliver analysis that your team can put in front of the client and defend.

We work with prime consultants and specialist firms.
